Extratone Blog

It was a few months ago. Early summer, I think. I was entering my third day without sleep. I was recording what I was playing in the interest of possibly catching something good. It was ~30 minutes in, just split the recording for the 4th time. I was conscious until the 3 minute mark, I think, when I lapsed into a very familiar melody. 

I ended the recording immediately when I woke up, about 10 minutes later.

So then, that’s 10 minutes of unconscious improv. It’s pretty rough – the train of thought is all over the place. I wouldn’t normally bother uploading it. I can hear myself breathing, shifting, correcting – but I remember none of it. 

Was probably more disturbed by it than you will be interested but here you go.
