Panoramic Shots of Pyongyang, North Korea

Ever wondered how a secretive socialist country locked from the outside world looks like? Many of us who has never been to North Korea depicts the country with visuals of obsessive military parades, shouting strict army men and overly expressive newscasters. In 2014, I traveled to the hermit kingdom with my wife and my obsessive curiosity for 12 days and to celebrate our 1st marriage anniversary. I managed to see a very artistic and picturesque side of the nation. We even got to ride in a retro Soviet jet all the way up north to see the legendary Mount Paektu. The sacred place where Dear Leader Kim Jong-Il was said to be born. Here are a selection of 10 panoramic shots I took while I was touring around.
